About iPickOne

Last updated November 6, 2026

iPickOne helps US shoppers narrow a choice by budget and how they will use a product. We publish plain-English buying guides, head-to-head comparisons and situation-based picks. Our product links go to Amazon.com; we do not sell anything ourselves.

Who runs iPickOne

iPickOne is run by the iPickOne editorial team. Every guide is published under that name (see our Editorial Policy). Questions or corrections: help@ipickone.com.

How we compare

Short version below; the full method is on How We Compare. We do research-based comparisons using manufacturer specs, manuals and published test data; we do not test products in a lab.

  1. Define the decision. We start from the question a shopper actually has and write the direct answer first.
  2. Choose criteria that matter. We list the specifications and trade-offs that change the outcome, in order of importance, with units.
  3. Use public sources. We rely on manufacturer specifications, product listings and published standards. We state when a number is a manufacturer claim.
  4. Compare on the same terms. Every option in a table is measured against the same criteria and units.
  5. Conclude by situation. We say who each option is best for, and who should skip it.
  6. Keep it current. Each page shows a published and updated date. Prices and availability change, so we don't print them.

How we make money

We have not joined the Amazon Associates Program yet; links to Amazon.com are plain product links. We may earn a commission in the future if we join affiliate programs. Commissions never decide what we recommend. Details: Affiliate Disclosure.
